All right, so I have been hiking the PCT since April 27th (kickoff) and I have just made it to my hometown of Etna, CA. Being home, I have been looking at some of the other hikers blogs and have decided to give it a try. The first 1606.3 miles to Etna summit have been absolutely amazing, I have met so many amazing people and seen a lot of the beauty that California has to offer, from the desert to the high Sierra's, and of course the State of Jefferson!! I am loving hiking through the mountains that have surrounded me my whole life. I will be taking off on Wednesday for the next section, and will hopefully post another update when I get to Ashland in a week or so.
